This rectangular landscape-format photograph presents an architectural complex set within a mountainous forested region, viewed from an elevated vantage point that positions the observer looking slightly downward across a dense tree canopy toward a substantial building facility. Beginning with the sky occupying the upper half of the image, soft blue-gray tones with creamy white clouds create an atmospheric backdrop suggesting overcast or hazy conditions that diffuse the daylight evenly across the scene. The distant horizon reveals gentle mountain silhouettes in muted gray-blue tones, their undulating peaks barely distinguishable from the sky through the atmospheric haze. Moving downward, the main architectural subject occupies the middle register, a large industrial complex rendered predominantly in bright white and silvery metallic tones that contrast crisply against both sky and forest. The building extends horizontally across approximately three-quarters of the image width, its primary facade featuring a distinctive wave-like pattern created by curved forms that echo the distant mountain profiles, this rhythmic undulation spans the central portion of the structure like frozen ocean swells or abstracted topographic contours. Vertical ribbing creates a striped texture across much of the building surface, cool and regular like the teeth of a comb or pleated fabric standing on edge. To the far left rises a slender vertical tower, perhaps six times taller than it is wide, bearing small identifying markers near its crown. Delicate wisps of pale vapor rise from within the complex, their organic curves providing soft contrast to the architectural geometry. The foreground, comprising roughly the lower third of the image, consists entirely of densely packed coniferous trees, their deep green foliage creating a textured carpet that feels soft and yielding like moss or velvet, cool and fresh as a forest after rain.
Backed by undulating karst mountains, this factory building draws its design language from the natural context. To the north of the site there is a bare plateau flattened by the mining of a cement factory. In order to respond to the nature and memory of the site, the facade of the building is featured by a pattern of undulating mountain range to visually remedy the damage to the mountains by human impacts, evoking the self-examination of human activities. The pattern of the mountain range is derived from the combination of four sets of trigonometric function curves through parametric design.
