A contemporary gallery building extends horizontally across this landscape photograph, its form occupying the middle register against an expansive sky. Beginning orientation from left to right and background to foreground: the upper two-thirds present a rich blue sky, intense and warm like a summer afternoon, populated with white and soft gray clouds that cluster primarily toward the right side. The horizon reveals distant tree lines in muted blue-green tones. The architectural centerpiece is a long, low building predominantly finished in pure white that feels cool and smooth like polished stone or fine plaster. This white structure features a dramatically curved roof that rises from left to right in a gentle sweeping arc reminiscent of a wave's crest or a bird's wing in flight. At the leftmost point, the building nestles close to the ground where gentle slopes appear, while it lifts progressively higher moving rightward. A delicate transparent railing traces along the rooftop edge. At the right portion, the white form intersects with a vertical element clad in warm copper-brown material suggesting wooden slats or metal panels arranged in linear patterns—this feels like sun-warmed cedar or oxidized bronze. This warmer volume creates a V-shaped or angular gesture where it meets the white mass, adding visual punctuation. Below the main sculptural form, at ground level, translucent or reflective panels create a subtle horizontal band of windows. The middle ground features well-maintained grass in fresh spring green tones that would feel soft and slightly cool underfoot. The immediate foreground presents dense leafy vegetation with large rounded leaves in deep forest green, creating texture like thick quilted fabric. Stone or pale pathway elements appear at mid-left. The overall atmosphere suggests clarity, openness, and tranquility.

Taking the concrete structure of the original building as a base to be extended and augmented, SYN Architects has added a new steel structure, allowing the main facade to gradually twist and tilt outwards and upwards, transforming from walls to eaves. The original building's network of columns is not able to support the load requirements of the new architecture, so additional columns and a new structural system have been introduced. The design team has taken this necessity of engineering and given the new organization of columns an aesthetic quality.
