Silver A' Design Award Winner 2022
This landscape architectural composition presents a contemporary garden exhibition space designed for residential marketing purposes, photographed during soft daylight conditions that reveal the full chromatic range of materials employed, scanning from the background forward, tall glass-faced buildings rise approximately eight to ten stories high, their facades composed of blue-gray gridded panels with darker structural frames creating vertical lines, several deciduous trees stand in the middle ground, their slender trunks rising to spreading canopies of fresh spring-green heart-shaped leaves, some branches extend into the upper frame creating natural overhead presence, moving to the left middle ground, a striking cubic pavilion structure commands attention, its walls composed entirely of deep red transparent glass that glows with warm vermillion intensity, appearing like solidified cherry or wine, through this red glass one can perceive furniture silhouettes inside and tree branches appear transformed by the colored filter, the glass cube sits on a dark platform and contains what appears to be a small tree growing within or immediately behind it, to the right of this red pavilion, a gray stone-clad building presents a modernist facade with a tall illuminated doorway where warm amber light spills onto steps, a figure wearing a black dress stands at this threshold, appearing contemplative with long dark hair, providing human scale reference suggesting the doorway rises perhaps three meters tall, the foreground presents the most sculpturally dynamic elements, a sweeping white curved bench resembling a river or ribbon winds through the space, its smooth white surface cool and luminous like polished marble or refined concrete, this serpentine form approximately knee-height curves from left toward center then sweeps right before terminating at an elliptical pool of dark still water that reflects the sky and surrounding elements like polished obsidian, the ground treatment includes emerald green grass panels that undulate with gentle hills, dark charcoal-colored aggregate pathways, and embedded linear lights that trace edges with warm amber glow
Art One makes the terrain varied according to the axis of the site, introduces surrounding natural resources, and forms a microclimate with a group of trees. An art gallery connects the spaces, and integrates fashionable hollow-carved elements and color blocks, enhancing the artistic sense of the site. It also implants four functional boxes around a green environment to create a wonderful experience space, both making the space more integrated, and better integrated with the theme.
