Rongxin Zhongliang Sales Center

An expansive interior space unfolds before the listener, organized along a strong central axis extending from the viewer's position toward large windows at the far end. The space is characterized by soaring height and pristine luminosity, with walls and ceiling rendered in soft whites reminiscent of fresh cream or morning fog. Beginning overhead, a dramatic ceiling installation commands attention: an elongated rectangular panel surfaced in intricate metallic mesh, silvery-gray like weathered pewter, from which dozens of delicate white elements are suspended on fine wires, resembling ginkgo leaves or lotus petals frozen mid-fall, creating a cascading sculptural cloud that descends perhaps two stories from ceiling toward floor level. The elements appear translucent and lightweight, catching ambient light to glow softly like fine porcelain held before a window. Moving attention to the side walls, repeated arched niches punctuate the space at regular intervals, their curved forms suggesting classical architectural traditions, each softly illuminated from within to create gentle pools of warm light against the otherwise cool white surfaces. The floor presents striking contrast: polished black stone, smooth and cool as river rock, so highly reflective that it mirrors the ceiling installation above, doubling the visual drama and creating a sense of infinite depth underfoot. At the composition's center, positioned on the reflective floor, sits a white display platform supporting an architectural model of residential towers rendered in miniature. Beyond this, visible through the far glazing, a sculptural white spiral staircase curves upward like an unfurling ribbon. Vertical pendant light fixtures flank the space at intervals, their forms suggesting stacked glass spheres, adding subtle warm illumination. The overall atmosphere feels hushed, reverent, and spacious, like entering a contemporary cathedral bathed in gentle, diffused daylight.

The project is located in Longwan, Wenzhou, and is known as the "mountain and river in the southeast of the world". In the initial concept, the city is described in a purely modern way. However, in the context of architecture, this is a sales center of steel structure buildings, so the developer hopes to give modern oriental aesthetics a communicative mood through the expression of contemporary art. The designer chose to peel off the hustle and bustle of the city, using the concept of "Nature outside of Qianxun", using light and shadow to communicate with each other.
