Yushan World Sales Center

Listeners will explore a grand interior commercial space photographed from an elevated vantage point, revealing a soaring double-height atrium dominated by a spectacular sculptural ceiling installation. Beginning overhead, the eye encounters an enormous radial structure composed of dozens of warm honey-colored wooden fins arranged like the ribs of an opening fan or the petals of a magnificent flower, all converging toward a central spine that descends from above. Encircling this timber sculpture floats a large elliptical ring glowing with soft golden light, perhaps eight meters in diameter, suspended horizontally to define the ceremonial heart of the space below. The ceiling beyond appears crisp white with recessed lighting creating gentle ambient illumination. Moving downward, tall walls rise in pristine white, their surfaces textured with fine vertical ribbing that catches light and shadow in subtle rhythmic patterns. To the left, a sweeping curved staircase ascends, its treads and outer wall clad in rich caramel-colored wood warm as butterscotch, protected by a transparent glass balustrade that appears light as air. The flooring beneath presents polished stone in warm gray-brown tones with natural veining patterns suggesting marble, its glossy surface reflecting the architectural elements above like still water. In the middle ground beneath the central installation, intimate seating arrangements cluster: small round tables surrounded by contemporary chairs in cream and charcoal, their forms organic and welcoming. Along the right periphery, floor-to-ceiling shelving systems display objects and greenery, introducing life and color through trailing plants and carefully arranged decorative items. Comfortable sofas in neutral tones punctuated by cushions in warm coral and cool teal invite lingering. The overall atmosphere feels luminous, spacious, and ceremonially welcoming.

The designer team is committed to exploring the combination of commerce and art. Yushan World is a sales center which located in Jiangyin, China. The design continues to use butterfly-shaped elements, echoing the architecture’s butterfly form. The interior layout learns from the butterfly shape of the building. The foyer is shaped with abstract symmetrical wings and arc-shaped wall produces a strong sense of interlacement and segmentation of the space.
