Chinlink Office Workplace

This interior environment presents a dramatic contemporary workplace spanning two visible levels connected by a sculptural spiral staircase. Beginning with orientation, the view encompasses an expansive open floor area photographed from a position that captures both the ground level and the soaring ceiling above. The dominant architectural feature commands the center-left portion of the composition: a helical staircase constructed from warm honey-colored wood, the tone reminiscent of golden maple syrup or amber autumn light. The staircase winds upward in a graceful spiral, its treads appearing substantial and its balustrade formed by tall vertical panels in matching warm wood that create a protective enclosure suggesting the texture of smooth sanded timber. Directly above the staircase, the ceiling opens into a large elliptical void, an oval opening perhaps thirty feet across that allows sight through to the level above where the staircase continues its ascent. The ceiling surrounding this opening appears smooth and white like fresh cream. The floor immediately beneath the staircase consists of a circular platform finished in glossy white material that reflects light like still water, creating a luminous pool effect approximately twenty feet in diameter. Surrounding this white disc, the floor transitions to charcoal-gray carpeting with a subtle texture suggesting dense wool, cool and professional underfoot. To the left foreground, a vibrant area of crimson and coral red carpeting introduces warmth like autumn leaves or ripe berries, arranged in geometric angular patterns. Along the right side of the space, the wall curves organically in panels of dark material resembling brushed gunmetal, cool and sophisticated, with a built-in bench upholstered in neutral gray nestled into this undulating surface. In the middle distance behind the staircase, a fully glazed conference room glows with vivid magenta-red interior lighting, casting a warm theatrical radiance like sunset through stained glass.

Business, finance and leisure and other functions are integrated into a place, the Chinlink International Center. The design is simplistic and significant yet playful. Dots, lines and planes compose the geometric figures and forms into varying beautiful patterns. The office area spans from 18F to 20F. The designers used different styles of carpets to highlight and distinguish functional areas and provided the possibility of adding more elements. The geometric blocks are used to divide the spatial layout and guide the paths, on the boardroom area from the 23F-25F.
