Greenland Phoenix Pearl Club Community Clubhouse

Listeners enter a grand double-height interior space that functions as a community clubhouse arrival hall, dominated by a monumental staircase of pale stone positioned centrally and slightly left of center. Scanning from the distant background forward, the upper portion reveals a ceiling of soft grey with a large rectangular skylight that glows with diffused daylight, cool and even like overcast afternoon light filtering through translucent material. Descending from the ceiling, walls are clad entirely in stone panels the color of cream mixed with grey, featuring horizontal striations that feel like natural layering in sedimentary rock, smooth to the touch yet visually textured with subtle linear rhythms. The staircase begins with wide platforms at its base that step inward as they rise, creating a ziggurat or stepped pyramid silhouette, each tread edged with a thin dark band suggesting bronze or deep charcoal that provides visual definition. The stone surfaces feel as though they would be cool beneath fingertips, polished but not slick, with the slight warmth of natural mineral. To the left of the staircase at its base, a rectangular wall niche holds a sculptural form in highly polished chrome, organic and rounded like a crumpled precious metal sphere, catching and fragmenting the ambient light with mirror-like reflections. The floor stretches across the foreground in polished dark grey stone with subtle veining, its surface so smooth it reflects the walls and staircase like still water, cool and solid underfoot. To the far left, glimpsed partially, a seating area presents contemporary furniture in muted tones beside tall windows covered with horizontal blinds filtering soft exterior light, while a slender tree with delicate branching reaches upward from a dark container. To the right foreground stands a large sculptural element in pure white, its form curved and organic like a shell or abstract seed pod, smooth as porcelain, introducing biomorphic softness against the angular architecture. The atmosphere suggests hushed stillness, cool air, and the quiet reverence of a threshold space inviting measured passage and contemplative ascent.

Phoenix Pearl is located in Qingdao, a city lying between mountains and sea. The design takes into consideration residents' new understanding of the circle of home and life. The design embodies a wide range of scenes to extend the pursuit of quality life and provides a new consumption experience where urban living aesthetics integrates with mutually supportive communities. Like the museum's changing space, it spirals upward to obtain maximum natural light and upward views. It is a comprehensive extension of spatial aesthetics and interpersonal relationship.
